"R" Angel

Today Ben & I got to deliver our very first "R" Angel basket of goodies to the hospital. Unfortunately, we delivered it to one of my best friends, Hillary. She had a daughter on Sunday morning, Molly, and she was admitted to the NICU for immature lungs and fluid on her lungs. Hillary was discharged yesterday, but Molly is going to be in the NICU for at least another week. So, we took Hillary and her husband, Chad, a basket full of bottled waters, juices, snacks, microwavable meals, soups, candy, gum, and lots more goodies to eat while staying at the hospital. Please keep them all in your prayers! It was a great feeling to be able to help out a family trying to live out of the hospital like we had to for weeks - thanks to "R" Angel! We plan to make a website for "R" Angel soon where we can keep everyone updated on what we are doing with the money that was donated. For now, we will just keep everyone updated here.

  1. Amy and Ben,

God is so amazing! He works in ways that we can't understand yet it is all for His master plan. I think you two have an amazing testimony and such wonderful hearts. Even though it is hard to understand His plan it is so amazing to see you two reaching out to serve. We are the body of Christ as Christians and your hands are reaching and serving a purpose far greater than yourselves! Wow! Every-time I get on this blog I am touched and inspired by you both. Praying for you daily!!!

  2. Ben and Amy, that is absolutely AMAZING! There's a joy that comes from giving & being there for others that's indescribable, I'm glad to see that ya'll are experiencing that. You're still in my prayers, my friends that prayed for Remi the whole way through still ask me about you all! Know that you two are an inspiriation, & your good seeds sewn into the lives of others will defenitley come back to you... pressed down, shaken together, & running over into your bosoms! (Luke 6:38)
Take care & HAPPY MOTHERS DAY AMY!
    Love,
    Ta'Mara Brown!

  5. THANKS GUYS!! We definitely don't know what we would have done without the food you guys brought us! We shared Remi's story with others in the NICU, and we also shared the MASSIVE basket of food! Everyone we told was amazed that you were already taking action to help others so soon after losing her. You are definitely making an impact in Remi's memory!! Love you guys!
